Cacheboy Project Aims
Quite simply: the primary aim of the project is to provide content delivery services to open and free software projects.
We hope to work with both service providers and open source projects to improve the user experience in accessing open source and free software.
To do this, we are building a community-based content delivery network which brings together network and application level technology to efficiently deliver content the best way possible to end users whilst working with service providers to make it as effortless as possible to do so.
The initial focus is on organising the content distribution, routing, reporting monitoring foundations. The more interesting stuff will occur later.
